Maraschino Cherries From Scratch
  1. Add 2 cups of pitted cherries to a glass jar.

  2. In a saucepan over low heat, whisk together ¾ cup of agave, ¼ cup of water, juice of ½ a lemon, and 1 tsp of vanilla.

  3. Pour the mixture over the cherries.

  4. Let the cherries cool and then seal the jar.

  5. Place in the fridge for at least 12 hours before enjoying.
