In a mixing bowl, add yeast, salt, and water. stir, then add olive oil. set aside at room temp for about 10mins or until foamy
Next add flour and salt, and mix until smooth and we'll combined 3-4 mins.
Place in an olive oiled bowl, coating the dough ball in olive oil. cover with plastic and set out at room temp for 45 mins to 1 hour.
Oil a half sheet tray and place your dough ball onto the tray. press the dough out flat, then, using your finger tips, tamp the dough down. season with kosher salt and let rest for another 45 mins to an hour.
Bake at 425 fahrenheit for 24 mins, rotating half way through. remove from oven and let cook for 5 mins in the pan, then place on a wire rack until the focaccia cools
