Cook the green beans in a skillet with oil for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally to get a light char.
Move the green beans to the side of the skillet.
Cook the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, crushed red peppers (if using), and white pepper.
Mix everything together and let the sauce cook into the green beans for 1-2 minutes.
Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy.
