Sugar Plum Fairy
  1. Make plum syrup: Add 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water to a pot over low/medium heat

  2. Stir until sugar is dissolved

  3. Add ¾ cups plum peel to pot and simmer until thickened, approximately 20 minutes

  4. Strain out solids and store in an airtight container for 2 weeks in the fridge

  5. Add 2 oz vodka, 1 oz orange liqueur, 0.75 oz plum syrup, and 0.75 oz lemon juice to a shaker

  6. Shake with ice for 15 seconds

  7. Run a lemon wedge along the rim of your glass

  8. Dip rim into sugar/plum zest/lemon zest mixture

  9. Strain contents of shaker into glass and serve
