Preheated the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes pale and fluffy.
Add the softened margarine, orange juice, and orange zest, and beat well.
Add the flour mixed with the baking powder, and beat again until the batter forms bubbles.
Grease and flour the cake pan, pour in the batter.
Bake for about 40 minutes.
Check for doneness using a toothpick, if it comes out clean, it’s done.
