Lunch Lady Peanut Butter Bars
  1. Line a 9- x 13-inch pan with parchment paper.

  2. Melt half a cup of butter and add it to a large bowl.

  3. Mix in half a cup of brown sugar, two and a half cups of powdered sugar, two cups of creamy peanut butter, and one and a half teaspoons of vanilla.

  4. Press this mixture into the lined pan, making sure it’s even and smooth on top.

  5. In the same bowl, add one cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and another quarter cup of butter.

  6. Melt the remaining butter and chocolate chips in 30-second increments in the microwave, stirring in between, until smooth and glossy.

  7. Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.

  8. Chill in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
