Pepper Steak With Bell Peppers & Onion
  1. Season beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper

  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef strips and sear 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside

  3. Add peppers and onion to the skillet and cook 3-4 minutes until softened

  4. Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute

  5. In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire. Pour into the skillet

  6. Bring to a simmer and stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce

  7. Return beef to the skillet and coat in the rich pepper steak sauce

  8. Cook 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and glossy

  9. Garnish with red pepper flakes or sesame seeds and serve over rice or noodles
