Season beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef strips and sear 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside
Add peppers and onion to the skillet and cook 3-4 minutes until softened
Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute
In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire. Pour into the skillet
Bring to a simmer and stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce
Return beef to the skillet and coat in the rich pepper steak sauce
Cook 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and glossy
Garnish with red pepper flakes or sesame seeds and serve over rice or noodles
