Melt 3 tbsp butter, then whisk in 2 tbsp fine sugar (a mix of caster sugar and brown sugar) and 2 tsp milk.
Now stir in your dry ingredients: 5 tbsp all-purpose flour (optional: you can reduce to 4.5 tbsp if you'd like a softer more cookie-dough consistency) and ¼ tsp baking soda.
Optional (but ALWAYS a good idea): stir in chocolate chips measured with your SOUL! Sprinkle a few on top.
You can either pop this in a microwave for 1 minute or bake for 8-9 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 C until edges are set but centre is still soft. This should also work in an air-fryer!
Serve with a swoop of ice cream on top and DIVE IN!
