Heat oil or ghee in a pot
Add chopped onion and sauté until golden
Add garlic paste and ginger paste, cook for a minute
Add tomatoes and cook until soft
Add spinach and cook until wilted
Add coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, garam masala, and turmeric powder
Season with salt to taste
Stir in sour cream, yogurt, or cream
Add paneer cubes and simmer until heated through
Garnish with crushed chillies and serve
