4 Ingredient Cookie Dough Protein Bites
  1. In a bowl, combine the vanilla protein powder, peanut butter and maple syrup and mix together well to form a dough.

  2. Fold in ¼ cup of the chocolate chips and salt (if using) until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  3. Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, roll the dough into bite-sized balls and press them down into a mini cupcake tray or mould so they are ¾ full.

  4. Melt the extra ½ cup of chocolate chips in a bowl over a saucepan with two inches of water in on a low heat, then spoon the chocolate on top of the cookie dough.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the bites to firm up.

  6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
