Oven-baked Bbq Ribs
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.

  2. Flip the pork baby back ribs over and remove the thin membrane from the back. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

  3. In a small bowl, stir together the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder if you’re using it.

  4. Rub the seasoning mixture all over both sides of the ribs.

  5. Place the ribs on your prepared baking sheet. Cover them tightly with another sheet of foil.

  6. Slide them into the oven and bake for 2 ½ to 3 hours.

  7. Carefully remove the ribs from the oven and increase the temperature to 425°F (220°C).

  8. Brush a generous layer of BBQ sauce over the top. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the sauce for extra caramelization.

  9. Return the ribs to the oven uncovered. Bake for another 15 to 20 minutes.

  10. Let the ribs rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing between the bones.

  11. Slice the ribs cleanly between the bones and arrange them on a large platter.
