Crispy Spiral Ricepaper Dumplings (gluten Free)
  1. Soak the rice paper in water for 10-15 seconds until softened.

  2. Place the softened rice paper on a clean surface.

  3. In saucepan, add butter, oil and mince and cook.

  4. In a bowl, mix together the cooked rice, shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper.

  5. Place a spoonful of the rice mixture in the center of the rice paper.

  6. Fold the bottom of the rice paper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly to form a spiral dumpling.

  7. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  8. Carefully place the spiral dumplings in the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
