Simmer the liquid first: Bring your water or broth to a simmer before stirring in the quinoa. Then, let the mixture come back up to a simmer.
Cover and cook: Once the mixture is simmering, reduce the heat to low, cover it and let it cook for 15 minutes.
Let it sit: Take the pot off the heat and let it sit (covered) for an additional 20 minutes.
Fluff with a fork and enjoy: Use a fork to fluff the quinoa before serving.
