Add two eggs and 1 cup of sugar to a bowl and mix well.
Add 250 g of orange juice and the zest of one orange, and mix again.
Add 200 g of oil and stir.
Add 2 cups of sifted flour and mix until smooth.
Add 1 tbsp of baking powder and mix just until combined.
Pour the batter into a greased and fled pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180° C, 350° F, for 40 minutes.
Combine 200 ml orange juice with 7 tablesp of sugar in a pan and let it boil.
Once the cake is baked, pour the hot syrup over it and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Then turn it out onto a plate.
