  1. Thoroughly wash the rice and soak for 25-30 minutes, then drain.

  3. Add salt, then rice and vegetable broth. Boil, cover, and cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes.

  4. Uncover, mix in green onions, lemon juice, and black pepper gently.
