Prepare the lava center: Scoop 20g (about 1 heaping tbsp) peanut butter onto parchment or plastic wrap. Flatten slightly into a thick disk and freeze for for at least 12–15 minutes, while you prepare the batter.
Make the batter: In a small bowl or directly in your mug, mash the banana until smooth. Mix the miso and peanut butter with the banana first for easier blending, then add the milk and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients: Stir in oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and cinnamon until just combined.
Assemble: Add about ⅔ of the batter to a microwave-safe mug. Place the frozen peanut butter in the center, then cover with the remaining batter. Make sure the center is fully sealed.
Microwave: Microwave on medium-high power for 1 minute, then continue in 15-second bursts until done (about 100–115 seconds total).Check doneness: Edges should be set, the top just dry, and the center slightly soft and glossy.
Cool slightly & serve: Let sit for 1–2 minutes to allow the center to thicken into a gooey lava texture.
