Preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Flatten the bread. Use a rolling pin to gently but firmly flatten each piece (optional).
Create the honey butter. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, honey, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Coat the croissants or bread. Gently spread the honey butter mixture on both sides of each flattened croissant or bread.
Place the croissants on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Flip each and bake for another 10 minutes, or until deeply golden and crispy.
Cool and crisp. Let the bread cool completely on the baking sheet to allow the glaze to set and harden, giving them an extra crispy texture.
