Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla
Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until batter is smooth
Pour into the pan and bake for 35–40 minutes
Cool completely, top with sliced strawberries, and dust with powdered sugar
