Homemade Masala Blend
  1. Roast the whole spices in a dry pan over medium heat until fragrant

  2. Allow the roasted spices to cool completely to room temperature

  3. Once completely cooled, grind the spices using a traditional sil-batta (mortar and pestle) or spice grinder

  4. Store the freshly ground masala in an airtight container
