Heat oil over medium heat in bottom of large heavy pot, 3 or 4 minutes.
Add parsley, basil and rosemary and cook on medium heat 5 or 6 minutes
Add wine and cook another 5 or 6 minutes (wine will boil down)
Add the tomatoes and about half a can of water.
Simmer on low for at least 3-6 hours.
Stir every half hour or so.
