Preheat the oven to 425°F.
Place a wire baking rack on top of a large rimmed baking sheet and set aside.
In a small bowl mix together the 2 TBSP peanut oil, 2 tsp salt, and 1 tsp black pepper until well combined.
Lay the wings on the baking rack in a single layer.
Lightly brush about half the oil mixture on the top-side of the wings then set aside the remaining oil mixture to use later.
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Take the wings out of the oven then flip the wings and brush the remaining oil mixture on the other side.
Return the wings to the oven and bake for 15 more minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
