1 pint milk
3 tablespoons cornflour
3 tablespoons cocoa powder *
1-3 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
*substitute 1-2 tsp vanilla extract for vanilla flavour or dark brown sugar for butterscotch flavour.
Mix the dry ingredients in a pan and slowly add the milk, whisking constantly.
Heat over a medium low heat, stirring constantly. It’ll go thick quite quickly after staying liquid for a while. Do not allow to boil.
Pour into ramekins and chill in the fridge until set more and chilled.
