Matbucha
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

  2. Add the tomatoes, peppers, jalapeños and garlic to an oven safe dish.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, Silan, paprika and salt until combined.

  4. Pour over the vegetables in the dish and mix together combine.

  5. Cover and bake for 1 hour.

  6. Then uncover and continue baking for about 1-2 hours until the liquid has evaporated and the Matbucha darkens in color.

  7. Since I like mine less chunky, every so often, mix and press down with a spoon.
