Cajun Chicken & Dumplings With Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits
  1. Season chicken thighs generously with Cajun seasoning

  2. Add olive oil to a Dutch oven and heat

  3. Sear chicken thighs on each side for about 3 minutes

  4. Remove chicken from pot and set aside

  5. In the same pot, add onions, carrots, celery, and seasonings

  6. Add flour and mix together

  7. Add chicken broth, chicken bouillon cube, and ½ to 1 cup water

  8. Return chicken to pot and bring to a boil

  9. Shred the cooked chicken and return it to the pot

  10. Add heavy whipping cream or milk and mix

  11. Add additional seasonings as desired

  12. Spoon Cheddar Bay biscuit dough into the pot piece by piece

  13. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover

  14. Simmer for 25-30 minutes until dumplings are cooked through
