Inspired by the Fig & Citrus Whiskey Sour recipe with Traveller Whiskey, fig puree, and lemon-lime juice.
Combine Traveller Whiskey, lemon-lime juice, and fig puree in a cocktail shaker.
Fill shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well-chilled.
Strain into an old-fashioned or rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
Not-so-simple Syrup
Note: For a smoother mouthfeel, substitute fig puree with Orange Fig Not-So-Simple Syrup (as used in the original recipe). If using fresh figs, infuse them in the whiskey for 24 hours for a deeper flavor.
