– ½ cup mashed sweet potato
– 1 egg
– ½ cup milk
– 2 tbsp melted butter
– 1 tsp vanilla
– ¼ cup brown sugar
– 1 cup whole wheat flour
– ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
– ½ tsp cinnamon
– 1 tsp baking powder
– ¼ tsp baking soda
– ¼ tsp salt
Frosting:
– ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
– 2 oz (¼ cup) softened cream cheese
– 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
Bake at 400°F for 16–18 minutes in a greased donut pan.
Mix until smooth, then spread or dip cooled donuts.
