Frosted Gingerbread Cookie Bars
  1. In a large bowl, combine egg, melted oil/butter, sugars, molasses, and vanilla. Mix well.

  2. Fold in flour, spices, and baking soda into the batter. Mix until a thick batter has formed.

  3. Pour batter into a parchment paper lined 9x9 baking pan.

  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees F.

  5. Make the frosting by beating together butter and cream cheese.

  6. Mix in vanilla to the frosting.

  7. Gradually add powdered sugar to the frosting.

  8. Remove baked bars and let cool completely before topping with cream cheese frosting.

  9. Slice and enjoy.
