Preheat oven to 350 F.
Stir dry ingredients very well.
Add remaining ingredients to form a batter.
Smooth into a greased 9x5 pan.
Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
Let cool.
Cover with a cloth overnight and serve the next day for better flavor and texture.
Leftovers can be sliced and frozen.
If desired, frost with your favorite icing or a simple glaze.
