Thinly slice 2 pears (I used Bosc) - they have to be almost paper thin, some were too thick and don’t have the 'glass' effect.
Simmer for 30 minutes in 1.5 cups of sugar + 1.5 cups of water, until pears start to become almost translucent.
Place pear slices on tray covered in parchment paper. Add edible dried flowers (mine weren’t dried the first time I tried and they shriveled a little but still worked ok). Pansies, baby ferns, rosemary is all safe and beautiful!
Bake on 200F for one hour, flip, and bake another hour until fully dried (depending on thickness of pears you may need to do longer, don’t be afraid to go up to three hours)
