  1. Fry onions on ghee.

  2. Add cardamom, bay leaf, garlic and ginger. Cook for few mins.

  3. Add ground coriander, garam masala, chili, paprika, curry, cumin and turmeric.

  4. Add tomato puree, salt and pepper. Cook for a few mins.

  5. Add chickpeas and water. Cook until tender (20 mins).

  6. Garnish and serve.
