Homemade Vanilla Sugar
  1. Pour a few tablespoons sugar and the vanilla bean (chopped to fit) into a coffee grinder or food processor.

  2. Process the sugar and vanilla bean until the vanilla bean is ground finely.

  3. Pour the sugar/vanilla mixture into a bowl with the remaining sugar and whisk to combine.

  4. Sugar can be used immediately, and will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to six months.
