Line an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
In a large bowl, add almond flour, lemon juice, lemon zest and maple syrup. Mix with a spatula until ingredients are evenly combined and form a thick dough. An optional step is to add all the ingredients into a food processor and mix until a dough forms. The food processor compresses the dough a little better and releases some of the oils from the almond flour, creating a slightly fudgier brownie. However, you can just mix everything by hand to make things easier.
Transfer the mixture to your prepared loaf pan and spread and press it evenly across the pan.
Place the brownies in the fridge and chill for 2-3 hours (or overnight) until the brownies are set.
Lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment and cut the brownies with a sharp knife. If desired, you can also add a frosting on top of the brownies before serving.
Store bars in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer. These can be eaten straight out of the fridge or at room temperature.
