Bev's Ginger/Molasses Cookies (Christmas favourite)

Ingredients:

    Instructions

  1. Mix flour, b. soda, salt, and spices.

  2. Cream the butter and brown sugar. Then beat in the egg, molasses, and vanilla.

  3. Add wet ingredients to dry.

  4. Shape dough into balls and roll into the white sugar.

  5. Bake at 350°F for 8-10minutes, second rack from the bottom of the oven.

Note: spray or put a little bit of oil into the measuring cup you will measure out the molasses and then when you pour out the molasses it will not be messy.

Top with festive sprinkles
