Olive Oil Stir Fry Sauce

  1. Mix the Sauce: In a small bowl or jar, whisk together 2 tbsp olive oil, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey (or brown sugar), 1 tbsp lemon juice (or rice vinegar), 2 cloves garlic, 1 tsp grated ginger, and 1 tsp cornstarch until smooth. Add chilli flakes if required. If using cornstarch, make sure it’s fully dissolved.

  2. Cook Your Stir Fry: Sauté your protein and vegetables until nearly done.

  3. Add the Sauce: Pour the sauce into the pan and stir well. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened and glossy.

  4. Serve: Spoon over rice, noodles, or grains.
