Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Blend well the beets, oil and sugar.
Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
In seperate bowl, sift and mix the flour, salt, baking soda, and cocoa powder.
Gradually stir the dry mix into the wet.
Grease and flour a sheet cake pan, then pour in batter and smooth it out.
Bake for 25 minutes.
