Lebanese Rice w vermicelli noodles
  1. Saute noodles in butter over medium heat until lightly browned , stirring constantly

  2. Add rice and salt, stir until all butter is absorbed by rice

  3. Add boiling water, cover tightly and bring to a boil

  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 mins

  5. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 mins, or until all water is absorbed

add 1 tsp of lemon juice / qt of water when boiling to keep rice fluffy
