Cook Pasta: Add the ditalini pasta to the pot and cook according to package directions, stirring occasionally.
Add Cream and Cheese: Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Return Sausage: Add the cooked sausage back to the pot and stir to combine.
Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately with additional grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
