Prepare the Ingredients: Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, slice the onion and bell pepper, and mince the garlic.
Cook the Sausage and Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside as well.
Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until the onion becomes translucent, about 3 minutes.
Add the Cabbage: Stir in the chopped cabbage, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cabbage softens and begins to brown.
Combine Ingredients: Add the sausage and shrimp back to the skillet, mixing everything together. If using, add the soy sauce and red pepper flakes for extra flavor and heat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to ensure everything is heated through.
