Golden Diner Pancake
  1. Whisk flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda.

  2. Whisk milk, buttermilk, oil, eggs, vanilla in separate bowl.

  3. Combine wet and dry; whisk gently until mostly smooth. Let rest.

  4. Preheat skillet over low-medium for 8 minutes. Oil and wipe excess.

  5. Add 2 ladles of batter. Cook 8 min until bubbles and edges set.

  6. Transfer to oven at 375°F on top rack. Bake 9 minutes.

  7. Run spatula around edge and flip pancake out.

  8. Repeat for remaining batter.

  9. For syrup: whisk melted butter, honey, syrup, soy sauce. Warm over low heat.

  10. Stack 3 pancakes, add butter and drizzle syrup. Serve hot.
