Prepare vanilla bean simple syrup: cut a vanilla bean down the middle from top to bottom without cutting all the way through
Scrape down the vanilla bean with the back of a knife to extract the inside
Add scraped vanilla bean and whole vanilla bean stalk to a small pot
Add equal parts sugar and water (use one vanilla bean per half cup)
Simmer over low heat and continuously stir until sugar dissolves
Remove from heat and let fully cool with vanilla beans still in the pot
Strain out the vanilla beans and store in the fridge for up to 4 weeks
Add vanilla vodka, fresh espresso, vanilla bean simple syrup, and coffee liqueur to a pitcher
Chill the mixture
When ready to serve, shake each serving well with ice
Serve with frothy finish and garnish with three espresso beans
