Smoky Maple Tofu Sandwich
  1. Heat up a small pan on the stovetop to medium heat.

  2. Cut 2 slices from a block of firm tofu. (Make your slices approximately ¾ of an inch thick)

  3. Add maple syrup, liquid smoke and soy sauce to a bowl and whisk together.

  4. Place your tofu slices in the pan and pour the marinade over top, flipping tofu a few times to ensure both sides are evenly covered.

  5. Cook each side for 3 minutes or until golden brown on each side.

  6. Toast your bread if desired.

  7. Add your sliced veggies, sprouts and tofu slices to your bread.

  8. Add a spread of vegenaise to your sandwich.

  9. Assemble your sandwich, cut in two and enjoy!
