One Pan Smothered Chicken And Potatoes
  1. Chop potatoes into bite-sized pieces

  2. Heat oil in a pan and add potatoes to cook

  3. Cut chicken breasts into pieces and trim

  4. After 10 minutes, remove potatoes and add chicken to the pan

  5. Cook chicken until fully cooked through

  6. Add 2 tablespoons butter to the pan

  7. Stir in 2 tablespoons flour to make a roux

  8. Add ½ cup chicken broth and 1 ½ cups milk while whisking

  9. Add seasonings and whisk until clumps are gone

  10. Let the mixture simmer and thicken

  11. Stir in ½ cup cheddar cheese and ½ cup Parmesan cheese

  12. Add potatoes and chicken back into the pan

  13. Stir everything together and simmer on low for 5 minutes

  14. Serve and enjoy
