Candied Pecans
  1. Put pecans on cookie sheet and toast in oven for 10 minutes @ 200 degrees F

  2. Take a large skillet add brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, vanilla and water and bring slowly to a simmer

  3. When it is boiling good, add in toasted pecans and stir real good and make sure all are covered in the brown sugar mixture, be careful not to burn

  4. Keep stirring until all liquid is gone, then stir for 1 more minute

  5. Spread onto parchment paper and use 2 forks to separate each pecan where they are stuck together

  6. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over pecans while they are still warm and sticky, let cool off and set up, and place in ziplock bags
