Prep the Ingredients: Cook and crumble the bacon. Set aside.
Mix: In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, bacon, and cheddar cheese. Mix until just combined.
Form Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal parts and form into patties. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty.
Cook: Preheat the grill or pan to medium-high heat. Grill the patties for about 4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium doneness.
