Marinate the 1 Ib flank steak with 1 Tbsp Cornstarch, ½ tsp baking soda, 1 Tbsp Oyster sauce, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp Oil, 1 tsp Ginger, and 1 tsp Garlic.
Make the sauce by combining 1 cup chicken/beef broth, 2 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp dark soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 2 Tbsp brown sugar.
Heat up the pan/wok and add the marinated beef. Cook for a few minutes.
Add the broccoli and continue cooking.
Pour in the sauce and let it thicken. Add a cornstarch slurry if needed.
Optionally, deglaze the pan with 2 Tbsp Shaoxing wine.
Serve the beef and broccoli over rice.
