In a Pyrex mix 2 cups washed basmati rice, 3 cups of water, 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons 7 spice or baharat, 2 teaspoons curry powder, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and 6 slices of butter (6 tablespoons).
For the meatballs, combine 2 lbs ground beef, 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 yellow onion minced or chopped, 4-6 cloves minced garlic, ½ cup fresh parsley or dried, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, ¼ cup panko bread crumbs, 1 egg, and 1 tablespoon baharat or 7 spice.
Make them into larger sized meatballs about 1.5-2 inches.
Lay your meatballs on top of your rice.
Drizzle everything with a little olive oil.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake at 400 for 40 minutes.
Flip your meatballs halfway through and also fluff your rice with a fork at the same time.
After 40 minutes remove the foil and let cook for another 5-10 minutes depending on how it looks.
