Par bake the crust for 10 minutes at 350°
In a glass measuring cup, crack three eggs and then add enough half and half to make the total liquid (including the eggs) 1.5 cups.
Season with salt and pepper and add your onion and garlic.
Whisk to combine
Layer the bacon and fontina in the pie crust.
Add your filling and top with chives.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until the filling is just set.
Allow to cool for five minutes and dig in!
