Beat egg whites in electric mixer for 1 minute until foamy. Add salt and cream of tartar and whip again on high until stiff peaks form
Transfer egg whites to another bowl (carefully!!) or set aside
In mixer or by hand beat egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, and orange zest until smooth and a light butter/lemon yellow in color
Add ⅓ of yolk mixture and ⅓ of flour to egg whites and gently fold. Repeat again and again until the batter is just combined
Pour into another UNGREASED angel food cake/tube pan and bake at 325 for about 50 minutes. Let cool upside down for at least an hour and then cut away from the sides of the pan
Mix glaze ingredients until now lumps remain and pour on top
Slice and enjoy!!!
