In a large bowl add all dry ingredients, whisk together. Add wet ingredients. Mix until just combined. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and hydrate batter for 15-45 minutes. While batter hydrates preheat the oven to 350 and prep a 12-cup bundt pan.
When batter is done hydrating fold in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared cake pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out center mostly clean.
Out the oven allow cake to cool in pan for 15 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling. Add desired topping to cooled cake.
