In a saucepan put 9 teabags tied together. Add 4 cups of cold water and bring just to a boil. Remove from heat.
Now remove the teabags (no squeezing!) And set to the side. Pour in sugar and a pinch of baking soda. Stir until dissolved.
In a gallon pitcher put plenty of ice and then pour brewed tea in and give it a good stir to cool it off.
Now, put the used teabags back into the saucepan and add more cold water. And bring it just to a boil. Remove from heat. Remove teabags. Add this to the pitcher.
If the pitcher isn’t full you may now add more ice and/or cold water till full. Stir one more time.
Pour and Enjoy!!
